Eris

So small, yet so bright

If you looked you’d loose your sight

Named after the Goddess of Chaos

She would Chase us

If we saw her…..

There is a link on the NASA homepage to NASA people, there you will find a link to NASA astronauts and once we are there I want you to choose an astronauts journal to read. I would like you to copy the photo of the astronaut you have chosen to a Star Office Document. I want you to then create a poster introducing your astronaut to the class. There are also some cool stuff for kids found in the for students link.

What do you think?

Good morning grade 6. What do you think about the technology we have used over the last couple months? Has it helped your learning?

We have done quite a bit. Look back at the blog and think about how technology was used in the class room. We used quizlet to practice vocabulary, we played math games to enhance our skills. We began to use web searches for photographs and we started using email. We talked about online safety and linked to websites that taught us about endangered animals, ecosystems, volcanoes and earthquakes. We also practiced typing, making charts and reading websites.

So, tell me what you liked best. Was there anything else you wished we covered? How do you use the internet for your own learning?

Please comment with 4-5 sentences.
